Last July, it was announced that Gackt's going to release a Special DVD Box called nine*nine (which is read as "nine point nine"). The Box would include 14 disc of Gackt's live from is first tour back in 2000 until his last one in 2005. The supposed release date of the said Box was recently moved to October 29, 2008. But this release is said to have included an unreleased song called "Justified."

And also, reservation for Gackt's 2009 Calendar has already begun! So if you're going to have one reserved, do it now since they get sold Out pretty easily.

Oh, and Miyavi cut his hair. You can read all about it in his entry at his Myspace blog. He's just so irresistibly cute~♥

And for the updates to this blog crew, I've added 2 new members, updated 2 new crew's URL's and rejected a member.

I would like to take this chance to tell everyone that I've been running this blog crew for more than 2 years now since I adopted it. And I am not running this blog crew out on a whim with not a bit of an idea of what a J-rock is and/or the bands themselves. Even if I do not know each and every single J-rock bands out there, I do have a bit of an idea and that I have my resources to find them. Yes, that would also mean that I would go so far as to listen to an artist's songs just to know if they really do belong in the J-rock genre. Of course, with that, I would at least have an idea of who they are or at least have heard of their names. So take caution because I'm not someone who just approves and approves members to this blog crew without even checking them, you know.

Requiem et Reminiscence II

「Gackt Live Tour 2008-2009 Requiem et Reminiscence II ～再生と邂逅～(Rebirth and Reunion)」

Yes, you read that right! After 3 years, Gackt's finally having another live tour! It's been officially announced in his website. For more details on the said tour, you may refer to the official tour page.

For this tour, it was announced that there would be premium seats available for selected fans to show Gackt's appreciation and love for us. But because these seats are said to be limited, there are people who sell them and it's been said that Gackt's rather disappointed about this fact. So, as a solution, they come up with requiring fans who got premium seats to bring IDs just for confirmation that those tickets are in fact theirs.

For those fans who sell their premium tickets, you guys were lucky enough to get them and now you do this. Shame on you. If it were me, I wouldn't dare sell mine even if my life depends on it.

Update! Update!

Woah! After a more than a month, I've finally updated! ^_^; Anyway, I've added 2 new members, updated one crew and held one for pending. I don't really know if she just didn't get the rules right or she doesn't really get the idea of a blog crew. Anyway, I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt here so I'm holding her for pending until she replies to me by e-mail.

But seriously, Is it really hard to understand my rules? Or is it just plain too long?

Update After a While

I haven't been updating, for about 2 months now. Shame on me. XD Anyway, I've added another affiliate and one for the PermaPlug.

I would like to add, and make things clear for everyone: you would need to put up a reciprocal link from your site to PermaPlug for your site to be added into. That is to say that your link at the Silent Plug will remain up as long as the link to Silent Plug is kept at your end.

Consecutive Releases

Firstly, for [Kawaii Heaven]'s updates, although it's pretty damn dead at some point, we've managed to release [Saving Live Chapter 05] and it's out just a while ago. And I didn't announced this earlier that we also released [Saving Life Chapter 04] earlier last month before we ran out of bandiwth. All kudos goes to [Kat] for all of his hard work. We're trying to save our bandwidth so please take it easy with our servers. XD

As for Eien no Shoujo we've managed to release 2 consecutive chapters of [Kisu Yori mo Hayaku] - [Love 03] and [Love 04]. And possibly the next chapter soon.

I'm having problems with [Utawarerumono] at the moment, since the book and the magazine releases has the chapters messed up so I might rename the files we have following the book's chapters. I'm still the one editing it (with no progress at all - you are allowed to blame me only in this case).

Kawaii Heavens is down. Bandwidth limit exceeded. I guess we'll have to upgrade to a higher plan. But I'm broke. ＿|￣|○ But before that, did we really had that much of a traffic? Seriously? No one even posts there anymore? Or maybe because this July, we have 2 consecutive releases so there were tons of visits? I'll bet you'll say something like, "Wow! you guys are still alive!" or something like that. XD We are. We just lack drive to go on. Well, at least in my case. XD What am I saying? I haven't even fixed this site or even updated for a while. I just blog to make it seem that I'm alive or something. I'll be on it, when I have more free time though. Really. Toshi's New Band

There had been a confirmation that Toshi, vocalist of X Japan, formed a new band called T-EARTH. Jun, guitarist of Phantasmagoria and Touya, guitarist of Charlotte, seemed to be a part of the said new group. Toshi said that the new group aims to give value for nature and children, thus, it's called an "eco hard-rock" band. He also confirmed that this new band will be touring 6 cities in Japan starting from the 12th of August until 4th of September of this year.

Oh, and he also mentioned that X Japan's World Tour will be cancelled because Yoshiki is said to have been sick. I don't have details regarding the said illness yet. I'll look into this very deeply. I'm seriously worried about it, since this is my Yoshiki we're talking about here.

GPKISM Official Fanlisting

About a few minutes earlier, I tried sending GPK a message asking if I could call Lunatic Symphony as it's official fanlisting. And guess what? He said, okay! So from this moment on, this site is now the official GPKISM fanlisting, and with GPK's approval, of course. (^_^)/

*gasp* I just realized that in AU time, it's about past 2 am. Why is he still awake at this time? It'll ruin his skin. O_o

Lunatic Symphony: A GPKISM Fanlisting

I have made a fanlisting for GPKISM! And I named it Lunatic Symphony! If you're a fan of GPKISM, please consider joining! (^_^)/

I wanted this to become the official fanlisting at some point, but of course, I'll have to ask GPK for permission. Well, anyway, here's the site's layout:

Yes, yes, it has this Gothic elegance aura, doesn't it? I am very happy with how it turned out, honestly. I'm so happy with it that it makes me want to cry in self amazement. When I got this done, I actually told myself vainly, "Damn, sometimes, I amaze myself." *lol*

It took me a few minutes to crop out each and every image and about 2 hours rearranging the beads here and there to arrive at the point where I could be satisfied with how it looks. And the rest of the day, as well as the rest of another half day, was spent thinking of a name that would fit GPKISM at some point.

When I was making this, I have this desire of wanting it to look something dark and elegant at the same time, simple and clean looking. I spent a few hours cracking my mind on what to do, but then, I couldn't think of a way to show it. I came to a point where I wanted to just draw GPK to let off my frustration, but I was so damn frustrated that I couldn't even draw him properly anymore. I was constantly bugging Jeoffrey that I couldn't draw GPK and ended up working because I couldn't do anything, anyway. Then by around late afternoon that day, the idea of "what about GPKISM as a point of view of a fan?" suddenly hit me. Since I am a fan, it'll be quite easy to make. And then, I made it like that with GPK and Kiwamu's pictures over their CD and of course, my selfish love for Venetian Masks and roses (the rose is dead because I love dead things). The rosary beads, however, was added later on to portray my devotion.

Gackt in Hollywood

Gackt will be acting in an action film entitled "Bunraku" directed by Guy Moshe. He will be acting with Josh Hartnett and Demi Moore as his co-stars. And this will be his very first Hollywood movie! This news reminded me of Moon Child. His acting skills might not be that great, but he could be considered good. And this is not only an opinion of an obsessed fan too, you know.

Anyway, for this time's update, I just changed a member to pending since she'll be moving blogs. With regards to the pending members, I'm sorry about this taking too long but please wait a little longer. I'm really busy with work and I do not have the time. Really, really sorry. m(-_-)m

GPKISM a Visual Kei, rock band whose music revolves around the mix of Baroque, gothic and industrial sounds.

Members

Gothique Prince Ken or GPK for short, is the group's vocals, composer and lyricist. He's not a Japanese, rather, an Australian (well, he told me so, and yes, I had the nerve to ask and bug him constantly too). His a multi-talented artist. Yes, aside from his musical talent, GPK also does modeling and fashion designing. In fact, he has 2 fashion labels - Neo-Zero and Jardin de Seraphique. Neo-Zero's designs are mostly on the cyber goth genre while Jardin de Seraphique's designs could most probably fall under EGA fashion line. This is, of course, is only my presumption based on the designs I saw. Anyway, GPK was a part of a band called Flood of Rain too, before his GPKISM project started late 2007.

Kiwamu is GPKISM's guitarist (and possible the programmer as well, but I'm not too sure about it). GPKISM is one of his other projects aside from his main band, BLOOD. Well, he is most known as the "Kiwamu of BLOOD" anyway. In BLOOD, Kiwamu plays guitar, does the VJing and also programs. Aside from being the the leader of band, he also does the art direction and publication designs for BLOOD, yes, this includes the CDs, booklets, flyers, websites, etc. As you can see, like GPK, Kiwamu is also a multi-talented artists. In fact, he's like a artist in full package.

Ryonai is GPKISM's live keyboardist. Oroginally, he is from a gothic electro industrial band called BLAM HONEY. BLAM HONEY is not only a group that produces beautiful music, you'll fall in love with their album covers, flyers, posters and other graphics too. Ryonai is not only an musicial but a designer as well. He co-owns the brand SUPPURATE SYSTEM which produces different types of accessories and clothing with gothic, lolita, cyber, industrial, festish, and steam punk as theme. SUPPURATE SYSTEM, as a fashion brand, has gain populrity amongst the visual kei movement. Popular visual kei artist such as Mana, Kozi, Kaoru (Dir en Grey) and Kaya wears them, for example.

GPKISM, Update and Pending Applicants

I’ve added a new link exchange - Jrock & the Visual Kei! Well, it’s a J-rock and Visual Kei blog. I often read that blog too. Oh, and I would like to specially point out that in their current layout version, they feature this new band project called GPKism (more info on my blog - please read it! GPK is so cute! Ｏ(≧∇≦)Ｏ).

Oh, and with regards to pending members, I’m very disappointed with them. they don’t read the rules at all. You know, maintaining this blog crew is a lot of effort and I’m a single person doing this too. You wont hear any complaints on me with regards to this blog crew, of how time consuming it is, of how tiring it is, because I do it for the love of J-rock. But sometimes, I really have to draw a line here, somewhere, you know. So it’s either you follow the rules or I will not process your request at all.

X Japan and Updates

X Japan will be having another reunion concert on the 28th and 30th of March at Tokyo Dome. I want to go, I want to go. But I can't though. T.T Anywyay, I'm sorry for not updating. There's a lot of pending members too. >.< I didn't expect that there would be a lot of people joining within a month. *lol* Anyway, as of now, I've added 3 members and changed Sapphire's link.
